Author Michael Nast inspires the world of women with his book

The author of “Generation Incapable of Relationships” – Michael Nast – is currently attracting women like a magnet. No matter where he currently appears, the picture is always the same: long queues and hordes of young women in front of the lecture halls when the author is a guest.

Many people literally make a pilgrimage from one university town to the other just to ask him their burning questions - in the hope of finding answers about the willingness and ability of our Generation Y to have relationships .

Nast had a whopping 1,600 listeners at a reading in Hamburg in February. The author does not see himself as a relationship guide, nor did he intend his book to provide guidance. Nevertheless, he regularly manages to captivate and inspire his listeners with his stories.

The content of his popular columns, for example, is about Berlin nightlife, dates, embarrassments and basket cases. About why so many city dwellers fail in love. Single women in particular - many of whom are lovesick or disappointed by men - read his articles, which the author also uses in his book, published in “ Freundin ” or on the dating portal “Im gegen gegen”

Benjamin Melzer is the first transgender model to appear on a “Men’s Health” cover

The transgender model Benjamin Melzer was formerly called Yvonne and has had a rocky path to this publication in the well-known fitness magazine. The front page usually shows very well-trained males at their best.

From a purely visual perspective, nothing seems to have changed in the latest edition. The 29-year-old from Oer-Erkenschwick on the edge of the Ruhr area was just not always a man and completed his gender reassignment about 6 years ago.

He has now completely settled into his male body and proudly represents a population group that hasn't always had an easy time in society in the past.

After a long struggle, the federal government decides on new rules for brothels

Working as a prostitute is not a job like any other. That shouldn't come as much of a surprise. Until 2002, this activity did not count as a profession in the legal sense and was only exempted from immorality this year. This was the federal government's first attempt to better regulate this industry in some way.

Now the federal government is making another attempt and is also taking the far-reaching changes in the horizontal industry into account. This is primarily about shifting the john business from brothels and the streets to so-called “apartment prostitution” .

There will be some changes for women who offer their services from a private apartment under the new Prostitute Protection Act, which will be passed by the Federal Cabinet on Wednesday.

The aim is to enforce certain structural and hygienic requirements, which of course also means higher costs for these women, who have previously been able to use their services relatively independently.

The usefulness and quality of the bill with regard to the protection of prostitutes can of course now be discussed.
